This week we had all our bits cut out. We had to head over to the workshop to use the foling machine during the lunch break. This folded our 'flat pack' so our 2d pieces to the land yacht were now 3 dimensional. We raided the nuts, bolts and washers department and started assembling our project. Our mast needed to be cemented as well. Hunter got an employee to weld his t-bar together and it all started coming together.
We had to go back to school and cut out a pattern for our sail. Hunter brought some canvas from home as his mum is an artist. Sewing in a striaght line proved to be a mission as well as threading the sewing machine. We got there in the end!Rm17 Blog
